Area of application
Mineral silicate coloured paint for walls and ceilings. For tinting or for use as a solid colour. Shades can be mixed together.
Preparation
The substrate must be dry, clean and sound. Remove any old paint that is not firmly adhering, distemper and loose plaster. Pre-treat highly absorbent, sandy and chalky surfaces with proMineral primer.
Processing
Depending on the desired colour shade, the coloured paint can be used as a full-tone paint, tinted or mixed with another colour shade. Stir the paint thoroughly before use and apply with a brush, roller or a suitable spray gun. If using the same colour shade, mix different batches together before application. Colour variations may occur depending on the paint being tinted and the nature of the substrate. See the lid for batch number and colour shade. Do not apply when the substrate or room temperature is below +5 °C. Clean tools with water immediately after use.
Drying time:
Under normal conditions (20 °C, 65% relative humidity, moderately absorbent substrate), the drying time is approx. 6–12 hours. Under unfavourable conditions (e.g. low temperature or high humidity), the drying time may be extended.
Consumption
750 ml is sufficient for approx. 4 m² with a single coat – depending on the condition of the substrate. Determine the exact amount required by carrying out a test application on the surface.
Storage
Store containers tightly sealed in a cool place, but away from frost. Do not allow the product to enter the sewerage system, soil or watercourses. Only send completely empty containers for recycling. Dried-out residues can be disposed of with household waste or as construction site waste. When unopened and stored correctly, the product has a shelf life of up to 60 months from the date of manufacture.
Notes
* The coloured paint is not suitable for tinting proMineral lime-mineral paint, proMineral lime roller plaster or proMineral primer.
