Area of application
Mineral-based primer for interior use. Creates a stable, uniformly absorbent substrate for proMineral coatings and dries to a clear finish.
Preparation
The surface must be dry, clean and free of grease. Remove any old paint that is not firmly adhering and any loose plaster. Cover surfaces that do not require priming with plastic sheeting before application.
Processing
Stir the primer thoroughly before use and apply it undiluted to the substrate using a paintbrush or brush. Avoid splashing onto glass, aluminium, ceramics, marble and similar materials. Remove any accidental splashes immediately with water. Do not carry out any further work until the primer has dried completely. Do not apply when the substrate and ambient temperature are below +5 °C. Clean tools with water immediately after use. Do not mix with other products.
Drying time:
Under normal conditions (20 °C, 65% relative humidity, moderately absorbent substrate), the drying time is approx. 4 hours. Under unfavourable conditions (e.g. low temperature or high humidity), the drying time may be extended.
Consumption
1 litre is sufficient for approx. 6–8 m² with a single coat – depending on the condition of the substrate. Determine the exact amount required by carrying out a test application on the surface.
Storage
Store containers tightly sealed in a cool place, but away from frost. Do not allow the product to enter the sewer system, watercourses or the ground. Only send completely empty containers for recycling. Dried-out residues can be disposed of with household waste or as construction site waste.
Notes
Keep out of the reach of children. Due to the high pH value, avoid contact with the eyes and skin. It is recommended that you wear gloves and safety goggles (not glass). In case of skin contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if necessary.
