Area of application
Ready-to-use lime-based paint for smudge-resistant interior finishes. Moisture-regulating, highly permeable to water vapour, ideal for use on plaster, concrete, plasterboard and similar substrates.
Preparation
The substrate must be dry, clean and sound. Remove any old paint, distemper and loose plaster. Pre-treat highly absorbent, sandy and chalky surfaces with proMineral primer.
Processing
Stir the lime-mineral paint thoroughly before use and apply with a brush, flat brush or roller. If necessary, apply a second coat once the first coat has dried completely. Do not apply when the substrate or room temperature is below +5 °C. Clean tools with water immediately after use.
Tinting:
For coloured finishes, the lime-mineral paint can be tinted with a maximum of 3% universal tinting concentrates (LW-Oxyd types only).
Drying time:
Under normal conditions (20 °C, 65% relative humidity, moderately absorbent surface), the drying time is approx. 8 hours. Under unfavourable conditions (e.g. low temperature or high humidity), the drying time may be extended.
Consumption
1 litre is sufficient for approx. 6 m² with a single coat – depending on the condition of the substrate. Determine the exact amount required by carrying out a test application on the surface.
Storage
Store containers tightly sealed in a cool place, but away from frost. Do not allow the product to enter the sewer system, watercourses or the ground. Only send containers that have been completely emptied for recycling. Dried-out residues can be disposed of with household waste or as construction site waste.
Notes
Keep out of the reach of children. Protect surfaces not to be painted (such as glass, wood, etc.) from splashes. The lime-mineral paint can be easily repainted with the same product. Before using other paints or coatings, the lime-mineral paint must be washed off or brushed off.
