Lime roller-finish plaster

Ready-to-use, white fine-textured plaster finish for interior walls and ceilings. This roller-applied plaster helps to regulate the moisture content of the indoor air, thereby promoting a comfortable indoor climate. Suitable for use on mineral substrates (such as gypsum, lime, cement and clay plaster, masonry and concrete), plasterboard and gypsum fibre boards, mineral-based paintable fleece and similar substrates. Can also be applied to matt, absorbent emulsion-based substrates.

  • fine texture – grain size 0.5 mm
  • Easy to apply with a roller or brush
  • particularly breathable and moisture-regulating
  • Mould-resistant due to high alkalinity
  • free from preservatives and plasticisers
  • free from ingredients of animal origin

Technical data sheet

Area of application

Ready-to-use fine-textured plaster finish for interior walls and ceilings. Moisture-regulating and vapour-permeable. Suitable for use on mineral substrates, plasterboard and gypsum fibre boards, mineral-based paintable fleece and similar materials. Also suitable for use on matt, absorbent emulsion-based substrates.

Preparation

The substrate must be alkali-resistant, dry, clean and sound. Remove any old paint that is not firmly adhering, distemper and loose plaster. Pre-treat highly absorbent, sandy and chalky surfaces with proMineral primer.

Processing

Stir the lime roller plaster thoroughly before use and apply it with a roller, brush or flat brush, creating a textured finish as desired. On light-coloured, even substrates, a single coat is often sufficient. This produces a fine plaster texture. To achieve a more pronounced texture, a second coat should be applied once the first coat is completely dry. In this case, the base coat may be diluted with a maximum of 10 per cent water. The top coat should be applied undiluted once the first coat has dried completely. Do not apply when the substrate or room temperature is below +5 °C. Clean tools with water immediately after use.

Tinting:
For coloured finishes, the lime roller plaster can be tinted with a maximum of 4% universal tinting concentrates (LW-Oxyd types only).

Overcoating:
The lime roller plaster is suitable as a final coat, but can also be overpainted. For this purpose, proMineral lime-mineral paint is recommended, for example.

Drying time:
Under normal conditions (20 °C, 65% relative humidity, moderately absorbent substrate), the drying time is approx. 24 hours. Under unfavourable conditions (e.g. low temperature or high humidity), the drying time may be extended.

Consumption

1 kg is sufficient for approx. 2.5 m² with a single coat – depending on the condition of the substrate. Determine the exact amount required by carrying out a test application on the surface.

Storage

Store containers tightly sealed in a cool place, but away from frost. Do not allow the product to enter the sewerage system, watercourses or the ground. Only send completely empty containers for recycling. Dried-out residues can be disposed of with household waste or as construction site waste.

Notes

Keep out of the reach of children. Protect surfaces not to be painted (such as glass, wood, etc.) from splashes.
